It Happens a Firenze: site-specific collaboration between Vlad Nanca and Luca Resta

The exhibition 'It Happens' at Galleria Il Ponte in Florence presents the outcome of a residency and online exchange between Romanian artist Vlad Nanca and Italian artist Luca Resta. The project, curated by Paola Tognon (new director of Museo della Città di Livorno), emphasizes collaboration and cultural fusion. The gallery is divided into two distinct spaces: the dark lower level features Nanca's video 'Original Adidas' and Resta's 'Polenta Radar' with intermittent lights; the bright upper level combines Nanca's silhouettes with Resta's small black marble screens. The artists discovered a shared interest in Florentine radical architecture during their collaboration.
