Istanbul Biennial Season Showcases Diverse Exhibitions Across City Venues

The 13th Istanbul Biennial, concluding on 20 October, features various exhibitions across the city. At the Sakıp Sabancı Museum, Anish Kapoor presents his marble and stone creations, including Sky Mirror and Yellow, available until 5 January 2014. Şahin Kaygun's Polaroid photographs are on display at Elipsis Gallery, which will close on 2 October. Burak Delier's exploration of economics and art can be seen at PILOT until 26 October. A retrospective by Gülsün Karamustafa, focusing on Turkey's political past, is showcased at SALT Beyoğlu and SALT Galata until 5 January 2014. Galeri Zilberman features works by Şükran Moral and Valie Export until 26 October, while Protocinema exhibits Trevor Paglen's Prototype for a Nonfunctional Satellite until 25 October. Rampa presents Cengiz Çekil and Nilbar Güreş, also closing on 26 October, and Galeri Manâ displays Sarkis's works until 24 September.
