IST. International Arts & Culture Festival debuts in Rome with Self-Expression theme

The IST. International Arts & Culture Festival, initiated by ISTANBUL’74 in Istanbul in 2009, is set to host its inaugural global edition in Rome from May 30 to June 2, 2019. Under the curation of Delfina Delettrez Fendi and Nico Vascellari, the festival centers on the theme "Self-Expression in the Post-Truth World," examining how artists engage with AI, technology, and social media. Events will take place at MAXXI on June 1 from 10 AM to 6 PM and at I Casali del Pino farm on June 2 from 2 to 7 PM, both offering free entry. Esteemed participants include Arto Lindsay, Ayse Kulin, and Stella Schnabel, marking the tenth anniversary of the original Istanbul festival, which featured talents like Zaha Hadid and Tilda Swinton. Delettrez Fendi and Vascellari selected Rome for its stunning allure.
