Israeli Raid in Nablus Kills Palestinian, Wounds Four
During an Israeli military raid in the West Bank city of Nablus on Sunday, one Palestinian man was killed and four others were seriously wounded, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent. The deceased, Nayef Firas Ziad Samaro, 26, was brought to Rafidia hospital in Ramallah, where his wife was giving birth. The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed his death; hospital director Fouad Nafaa stated he arrived in critical condition and resuscitation efforts failed. Among the wounded is a 12-year-old shot in the shoulder. The Ramallah-based Health Ministry reported that Samaro's wife was in labor when informed of his death.
