Isola Design Festival 2024: 'This Future is Currently Unavailable' at Milan Design Week

The 2024 Milan Design Week hosted the eighth edition of the Isola Design Festival, titled 'This Future is Currently Unavailable'. This event took place across three venues: WAO PL7, Stecca 3.0, and Lampo Milano. More than 320 designers showcased their work at 60 different sites, with five exhibitions organized by Elif Resitoglu and other guest curators. Isola partnered with Saudi Arabia and the UAE to present 'Routes to Roots' and 'Anatolia'. At Lampo Milano, the 'Isola Design Gallery' featured collectible designs, while 'ENHANCE – Design for Social Impact' emphasized social design. The exhibition 'Is One Life Enough?' displayed sustainable designs. The Isola Design Store offered various design items, and Spanish studio Masquespacio introduced 'Around the Table', featuring works from multiple designers. Networking dinners were also organized.
