Ishara Art Foundation's 'No Trespassing' Brings Street Aesthetics into the White Cube

exhibition · 2026-04-23

The 'No Trespassing' exhibition, the inaugural summer showcase at the Ishara Art Foundation in Dubai, is curated by Priyanka Mehra. This event highlights the work of six artists from the UAE and South Asia: H11235 (Kiran Maharjan), Rami Farook, Fatspatrol (Fathima Mohiuddin), Sara Alahbabi, Khaled Esguerra, and Salma Dib. H11235's mixed-media piece critiques the constructed environment, while Rami Farook reveals concealed infrastructure within the gallery walls, representing trust. Fatspatrol's 'The World Out There' transforms the street using found objects. Sara Alahbabi incorporates cement blocks and LED lights to examine Abu Dhabi's urban landscape. Khaled Esguerra's interactive tiles display promotional language, and Salma Dib's work draws from influences of Palestine, Jordan, and Syria. The exhibition also offers tours and public programs, with support from reframe.
