A new docu-film titled 'Pompei – Eros e Mito' will air on Sky Arte on Tuesday, April 1st. Produced by Sky, Ballandi, and Nexo Digital in collaboration with the Parco Archeologico di Pompei and the MANN – Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli, the film is directed by Pappi Corsicato. It explores the archaeological site of Pompeii, focusing on its erotic and mythological art that was once hidden by the Catholic Church as scandalous. Narrated by Isabella Rossellini, the film weaves stories of love, power, and desire, including the myth of Bacchus and Ariadne at the Villa dei Misteri, Leda and the Swan, gladiatorial combats, and Poppea Sabina's quest for immortality. The score is by composer and pianist Remo Anzovino, with expert commentary from Massimo Osanna, former Director General of the Parco Archeologico di Pompei.
