Isaac Julien's 'All That Changes You. Metamorphosis' at The Cosmic House

Isaac Julien presents a site-responsive film installation titled 'All That Changes You. Metamorphosis' at The Cosmic House in London. The work explores themes of transformation, time, and relational worlds through a non-linear narrative. Filmed within Charles Jencks's postmodern architectural creation, the moving image piece features protagonists Lilith and Naomi, whose journeys are informed by feminist science fiction and critical theory. Julien's film traverses diverse landscapes, from California's redwood forests to Renaissance-inspired interiors, weaving together ecological, cultural, and temporal dimensions. Architecture functions as an active participant rather than mere setting, with The Cosmic House's symbolic language engaging Julien's investigation of cosmology as both scientific framework and poetic concept. The exhibition runs from 22 April until 18 December 2026, offering a meditation on interdependence and coexistence.
