Iridescent Metal and Textured Plaster Shape Rikky Hype Showroom in Kyiv

architecture-design · 2026-08-11

Anastasiia Tempynska spearheaded the Temp Project, which created the flagship store for the Ukrainian fashion label Rikky Hype. Located on Khreshchatyk in Kyiv, directly across from the Bessarabian Market, the 160 sqm showroom is situated in a postwar structure. The design incorporates contrasting materials, reflective surfaces, and well-organized retail areas. Expansive storefront windows link the interior with the cityscape. The aesthetic embodies the brand's essence through tactile elements and distortion. The space showcases collections for men and women, including sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and accessories, with a user-friendly layout. Key materials feature rough plaster, warm cork, and shimmering metal, along with custom pieces like a rotating mirror and a curved sofa. The design team also includes Mariia Yaremenko and Liuba Andreeva, with photography by Yevhenii Avramenko.
