Iranian Trio's First Solo French Institution Show at CCCOD

exhibition · 2026-04-23

In Tours, France, the CCCOD has welcomed Iranian artists Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, and Hesam Rahmanian for their inaugural solo exhibition in a French art venue. Entitled 'The Demon’s Diwan,' this exhibition combines elements from two earlier showcases held in 2022 at the NYUAD Art Gallery in Abu Dhabi and OGR-Torino in Venice. It features a new significant sculpture named 'Hayula,' which consists of a hundred miniature paintings that contemplate global unrest through the lens of Iran's political, social, and cultural narratives. The artists refer to their dynamic installation as a 'landscape' and a living entity, including ten recent pieces that explore themes of war, healing, imagination, poetry, and dance, while also serving as an alternative narrative of modern chaos connected to Persian creation myths.
