iRaiser fundraising platform expands to Italy with digital tools for nonprofits
iRaiser, a French SaaS platform founded in 2012 by CEO Antoine Martel, is launching in Italy to help nonprofits and cultural organizations optimize fundraising. Already active in 13 countries, including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK, iRaiser counts among its Italian clients FAI, ActionAid, Università Bocconi, Università Ca' Foscari, Università di Padova, Università Campus Biomedico di Roma, and CERN in Geneva. Country Manager Francesca Arbitani emphasized Italy's importance due to high generosity but reliance on cash donations, aiming to drive digital transformation. The platform offers customizable digital campaigns with a donor-centric user experience, live reporting, and secure payment systems. Internationally, iRaiser has worked with UNHCR, Greenpeace, Croce Rossa, Salvation Army, WWF, Diabetes UK, the Louvre Museum, and the Château de Versailles. For the Louvre, it ran a four-month crowdfunding campaign that raised €2 million since 2016, with an average donation of €150 and 10,000 donors. Following the 2019 Notre-Dame fire, iRaiser created emergency forms for Fondation de France and Fondation du Patrimoine, integrating Amazon Pay and Apple Pay, resulting in over 200,000 donations worldwide and €30 million raised online, €14 million in the first 48 hours.
