iosonopipo Photographs 300 Women in White Stockings at Centro Arti Visive Pescheria

Giuseppe Palmisano, known as iosonopipo, staged a performance and photographic project titled 'Vuoto' at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro, Italy. He photographed three hundred female bodies wearing only white stockings, creating a collective experience that culminated in a single analog photograph, produced in a unique copy. The project is a tribute to the recently deceased artists Jannis Kounellis and Ren Hang, whose themes of the body and nature brought into space are synthesized in the work. The venue was one of the last exhibition spaces for Kounellis. Two auctions are linked to the project: one for collectors for the official photograph, and another for video and photographic material to fund a future self-financed project. Palmisano has announced 'Vuoto 2', a sequel to take place in 300 days, featuring dark-skinned women wearing only black stockings, with the goal of creating a diptych at the same museum. The location for the second shoot is still undecided, but the artist expresses a desire to remain at the Pesaro museum.
