Invideo 2016: Italian Video Art and Cinema in Milan
From November 17 to 20, 2016, Milan hosted the 26th edition of Invideo, an international exhibition focused on video and cinema, held at Spazio Oberdan. Directed by Romano Fattorossi and Sandra Lischi, the festival celebrated filmmaker Daniele Segre and video artist Alessandro Amaducci, both of whom conducted masterclasses at the Istituto Europeo del Design. Segre presented works by his students from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia Abruzzo, while Amaducci was honored with a retrospective showcasing his Electric Self Anthology. The event also featured Karmachina's video performance Homage to Maya, accompanied by Ferweh's sound. Additionally, it addressed themes of bullying and sexual identity through Giovanni Coda's Bullied to Death (2016) and Carlos Motta's Deseos (2015). The festival concluded with the film Love is All. Piergiorgio Welby, autoritratto (2015).
