inTOUR 2022: 49 Lombardy Design Spaces Open to Public

The second edition of inTOUR, promoted by MuseoCity association, opens 49 locations across Lombardy—including Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Monza, Pavia, and Varese—until October 23, 2022. The initiative offers free access to spaces linked to art, design, and fashion, aiming to highlight Made in Italy. Twenty new venues debut this year, such as the Museo della Barca Lariana in Pianello del Lario (Como) with a night visit on Lake Como featuring live music, and the Leonardo3 Museum with a guided tour by curator Edoardo Zanon, who realized Leonardo da Vinci's unbuilt Flying Machine. Other first-time participants include Archivio Missoni (guided by Luca Missoni), Atelier Zav in Bergamo, Castello di Bornato (Brescia), and Palazzo Barbò in Torre Pallavicina (BG). Special openings include MuTef (Museo Teatro di Figura) with the Carlo Colla & Figli marionette workshop, and Monastero di San Pietro in Lamosa. Workshops are organized by Fondazione Federica Galli (art printmaking), Museo MA*GA Education Department with Luca Missoni (weaving on small looms), and Leonardo3 Museum (guided activities for children). At ADI Design Museum, the film series "1960-1990. Racconti di design. Le icone al cinema" is presented by Hearst Global Design, screening two days of Italian design history. The event collaborates with Circuito Lombardo Musei Design and Museimpresa, offering themed itineraries like Moda&Arte, DesignWanted, and Leonardo Da Vinci, accessible on foot, by bike, or public transport.
