Inti Guerrero named artistic director of Bellas Artes Projects

Inti Guerrero has been named the artistic director of Bellas Artes Projects, a non-profit art organization with locations in Manila and Bataan, Philippines. He takes over from Diana Campbell Betancourt, who is leaving to concentrate on her position as artistic director at the Samdani Art Foundation in Bangladesh. Guerrero will manage the artist residency at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan, along with the exhibition initiatives at the foundation's venue in Makati City, Manila. Residing in Hong Kong, he also holds the title of Estrellita B. Brodsky Adjunct Curator of Latin American Art at Tate in London and is the curator for the 38th EVA International in Limerick, which concludes on July 8. From 2011 to 2014, he was a curator at TEOR/ética in Costa Rica, and his curatorial experience spans exhibitions at prominent institutions such as Tate Modern and Museum of Contemporary Art Manila. His writings have been featured in Afterall, Art Asia Pacific, and Manifesta Journal.
