Intesa Sanpaolo partners with top chefs for new Gallerie d'Italia restaurants in Turin and Naples
Intesa Sanpaolo is opening two new Gallerie d'Italia locations in Turin (May 17) and Naples (May 21), each featuring high-quality restaurants run by renowned local chefs. In Turin, the historic Caffè San Carlo will host a café, bistrot, and restaurant operated by the Costardi brothers (Costardi Bros), known for their modern Piedmontese cuisine and art-inspired dishes like a risotto homage to Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup. The venue seats 120 and will be open seven days a week. Christian Costardi describes the project as a "takeoff" and a return to Turin after their previous restaurant Edit. In Naples, chef Giuseppe Iannotti of Kresios in Telese Terme will manage the café and bistrot Luminist (50 seats, opening late July) and a fine-dining restaurant on the top floor with a terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Certosa di San Martino (expected in October). Iannotti, who is also opening a restaurant in Tuscany, calls the project "ambitious" and a "crowning achievement." The initiative follows Intesa Sanpaolo's successful model at its Milan location, where the Voce restaurant group (Aimo e Nadia) offers multiple dining experiences. The bank aims to enhance the museum experience with quality, original gastronomic offerings that also serve the local community.
