Intervallo di confidenza: Three Artists at Monfalcone's Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea

exhibition · 2026-05-05

After nearly five years of inactivity, the Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea di Monfalcone reasserts itself with 'Intervallo di confidenza', a group exhibition curated by Daniele Capra. The show features about thirty works by Fabrizio Prevedello, Kristian Sturi, and Michele Tajariol, exploring the delicate phase between tension and reason that leads to the image. The installation feels sensorial chaotic despite its precise arrangement. Sturi initially created a colorful cloud with smoke bombs on a wall near the entrance, but it was replaced by a stone slab by Prevedello—an act of cancellation that underscores the weakness of form versus thought. Tajariol's works, including a series of photographs from 2015, blur faces with straps and foam, creating blind masks that protect while turning inward. Prevedello's 'Accumulazione per scomparsa' assembles materials like reinforced concrete, Verde Serpentino marble, Marron Fossil, mollusk fossil, iron, wood, and plaster into a pyramidal monolith. The exhibition runs until May 1, 2016.
