INTERNO project opens Florence artist studios to the public monthly

The INTERNO project, launched in early autumn, opens a different artist's studio in Florence each month to the public. After inaugural visits to Luigi Presicce (Porto Cesareo, 1976) in piazza del Carmine in October and Alessandro Scarabello (Rome, 1979) in via di Camerata, the third appointment on November 15 from 11 to 13 will be at via della Fonderia 51 with Anna Capolupo (Lamezia Terme, 1983). Capolupo's practice combines painting, sewing, ceramics, and installation, transforming everyday objects into suspended visions that blur reality and dream, drawing on magical-religious rituals of Southern Italy. The initiative aims to strengthen ties within Florence's artistic community, build a lasting network, and map the city's cultural life beyond its celebrated historical heritage. Organizers describe INTERNO as a critical device to foster new relationships, reveal affinities and differences, and create a sensitive geography of places, relationships, and practices where individual work becomes collective dialogue.
