Interni Creative Connection: Spanish Design Prototypes Finally Debut at Milan FuoriSalone

exhibition · 2026-04-27

At the University of Milan, seven prototypes created by young Spanish designers, who triumphed in the 'Il Design, un viaggio fra Italia e Spagna' competition, are showcased as part of the 'Interni Creative Connection' exhibition. This competition was launched by former Italian ambassador Stefano Sannino alongside Gilda Bojardi to enhance the visibility of Italian design in Spain. The 2019 focus was on 'The identity object for the construction of a contemporary archetype.' These prototypes were first unveiled in Madrid on February 26, 2020, just before the pandemic lockdown, and subsequently displayed at the Italian Institute of Madrid and at FuoriSalone in Milan, designed by Davide Valoppi. The exhibition is open until September 19, 2021.
