International Awards for Art Criticism Opens Second Edition with €6,000 Prize and Shanghai Residency
The second International Awards for Art Criticism (IAAC 2) is now accepting submissions for its annual contest dedicated to independent writing on contemporary art. Writers can submit pieces in English of up to 1,500 words or in Chinese with a maximum of 2,000 characters, focusing on exhibitions that took place between 20 September 2014 and 20 September 2015. The top award includes €6,000 and a residency in Shanghai, while two additional prizes of €2,000 each will be given. Approximately twenty selected entries will be published. The judging panel features Marek Bartelik, Catherine David, Dieter von Graffenried, Pi Li, and Yongwoo Lee. This initiative is organized by Shanghai M21 and Anxin Trust Co.
