INTERFACE – Post-Industrial Dreams: Industrial Ruins Meet AI at MIND Innovation District

The exhibition INTERFACE – Post-Industrial Dreams, hosted by Valore Italia at MIND Innovation District in Milan, runs during MIND Innovation Week 2026. Curated by Elton Koritari, it features Albanian artists Ardian Isufi and Shuk Orani. Isufi's VR installation 'Metallurgic Disney' transforms a disused factory into a theme park, critiquing capitalist spectacle. Orani presents AI-generated avatars, created in collaboration with the University of Hamburg, Dario Ghibellini, and other researchers, exploring identity and the limits of artificial consciousness. The show is set within the former Expo 2015 site, now a science and innovation hub, and engages with themes of post-industrial memory, urban regeneration, and the erosion of authenticity in the digital age. It also references the Scuola di Restauro di Botticino, questioning restoration in an era of infinite reproducibility.
