Insula Felix Foundation Opens in Milva's Milan Home
Art critic Martina Corgnati has established the Fondazione Insula Felix in the Milan home where her mother, legendary Italian singer Milva, lived for 45 years. Corgnati donated Milva's archive to the University of Bologna, including scores, correspondence, and press clippings, and has organized auctions and exhibitions of her stage costumes. The foundation will house a library and an auditorium for small events of up to 16 people, and will host performances by artist Marcello Maloberti, who is preparing a 40-minute tribute to Milva involving one of his students. Maloberti described the project as more complex than organizing a solo exhibition. The foundation aims to preserve and project Milva's artistic legacy into the present.
