Insta360 Unveils Mic Pro Wireless Microphone with Customizable E-Ink Display at NAB 2026

At NAB 2026, Insta360 previewed the Mic Pro, a wireless microphone featuring a customizable e-ink display for branding. Unlike typical discreet mics, it's designed to be visible in video content. The device integrates directly with Insta360 cameras via Insta360 Direct Connect, including upcoming Luna Pro and Luna Ultra models. A three-microphone array, AI-powered processing, and NPU-based noise reduction aim to deliver clear audio in varied environments. Internal recording provides a backup safety track. The Mic Pro will ship with a case, likely a charging unit with status lights. No launch date or price was announced. Insta360 previously released the $49 Mic Air in June, which also integrates with cameras like the X5 8K and Ace Pro 2, co-engineered with Leica. The Mic Pro is expected to cost more than the Mic Air.
