Insta360 has launched the Mic Pro, a flagship wireless microphone system for creators, filmmakers, and podcasters. It features a customizable E-Ink display on each transmitter, allowing users to upload logos or text via the Insta360 app, visible even when powered off. Another industry-first is a three-microphone array that digitally emulates cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 polar patterns. The system includes AI-powered noise cancellation via an onboard NPU chip, 32-bit float internal recording with 32GB storage per transmitter, and stereo audio capture. It supports up to four transmitters to one receiver (4-to-1 mode) or two receivers with four transmitters (2-to-4 mode). Battery life is 10 hours per transmitter, extendable to 30 hours with the charging case; a five-minute charge provides one hour of use. Timecode sync via TCXO oscillator ensures less than one frame drift over 24 hours.
