Inspired by Nature: 17 international artists reflect on nature and pandemic in Rome
Cristina Madini, the director near Porta Pia and curator of the exhibition Inspired by Nature, has assembled a group of seventeen international artists to explore themes of nature, with many pieces created during the pandemic. According to Madini, this time fostered a deeper commitment to art, with nature serving as a muse. South Korean photographer Soha Jeong showcases the piece Forest, which incorporates three-dimensional glass to enhance its spatial meaning. Annamaria Biagini reveals Babudrus, a fictional realm from her childhood, with a solo exhibition set for autumn at Centro Espositivo Antonio Berti in Florence. Belgian artist Stéphane Vereecken features The Garden Series, while Dutch artist Judith Minsk presents La mia pelle, critiquing the use of fur. Artists from the U.S., Australia, China, Japan, and Europe, including French painter Fanou Montel and Slovenian Nina Stopar, also participate.
