Insilico Medicine and Human Longevity partner on predictive AI for disease

Insilico Medicine, listed in Hong Kong, has teamed up with Human Longevity, a US firm, to create AI models capable of forecasting diseases years ahead. This alliance merges Insilico's algorithms with Human Longevity's genomic insights to enhance personalized health studies. The initiative will be carried out through the Human Life Foundation Models (HLFM), a new entity established by Human Longevity. While the specific investment details remain undisclosed, both companies referred to it as a multimillion-dollar collaboration in AI development. Insilico's CEO, Alex Zhavoronkov, emphasized that this partnership unites two frontrunners in AI and longevity, aiming to innovate personal longevity AI and discover new longevity medications. A recent UBS report valued the global longevity market at approximately US$5.3 trillion, with projections of reaching US$8 trillion by 2030. On Tuesday, Insilico's shares fell by 4.21% to HK$48.28. The company raised HK$2.28 billion (US$291 million) during its IPO in December, and its AI platform encompasses the complete drug discovery process, from disease target identification to drug candidate design and clinical outcome predictions.
