INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL 2026 Biennial Announces RENDEZ-VOUS Edition
The RENDEZ-VOUS exhibition, part of the 2026 INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL Biennial of the Arts, is set to take place in Innsbruck, Austria, from April 24 to May 3, 2026. Curators Chris Clarke, Franziska Heubacher, and Tereza Kotyk will showcase Guillermo Tellechea's Cinématons project alongside six flags from museum in progress. The live events will feature performances by artists including Christian Falsnæs, Fennesz, Léann Herlihy, Farah Deen, Olivia Mitterhuemer, and Isaac Chong Wai. Additionally, Leokino will host screenings and discussions with Wendelien van Oldenborgh, Clemens von Wedemeyer, and Oliver Ressler. The opening and closing will include DJ sets by SanDaLe Vibes and BC-A. Julia Frank will receive the Special Recognition Award, following past honorees like Heidrun Sandbichler and others.
