Inma Femenia's First Italian Solo Show at The Flat – Massimo Carasi
Inma Femenia (Pego, 1985) presents her first Italian solo exhibition, 'In Between,' at The Flat – Massimo Carasi in Milan. The show features two new series: Liminal, aluminum and rubber installations, and Versions, plastic manipulations. Liminal works consist of orange rubber tourniquets stretched between columns and walls, intersecting with digitally printed, hand-folded aluminum sheets. Versions derive from security camera footage, digitally manipulated to distort documentary imagery through editing, uploading, and formatting processes typical of computer archives. These industrial 'draperies' are printed on translucent plastic films and folded with tailoring precision. The exhibition runs at the gallery space in Milan.
