Infinix and Pininfarina unveil Note 60 Ultra smartphone with supercar design cues
Smartphone brand Infinix partnered with Italian design house Pininfarina—known for Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo—to create the Note 60 Ultra, a device that applies supercar design principles to reduce visual fragmentation. The phone's camera system is housed in a single integrated "Uni-Chassis" module covered by high-strength glass, eliminating dividing lines. A rear "Floating Taillight" strip simulates hypercar ignition, while a hidden "Active Matrix" LED interface can display a pixelated pet or mini games. Matteo Fioravanti, senior vice president of design at Pininfarina Shanghai, described the goal as making the phone "a continuous living entity" rather than a box of components. The collaboration marks Pininfarina's first smartphone project in its 95-year history. The Note 60 Ultra includes a 200MP camera, satellite communication, and audio by JBL, positioning Infinix in the premium segment.
