India Art Fair 2019: 75 Galleries, David Zwirner Among VIPs

The NSIC Exhibition Grounds in New Delhi will host the 11th India Art Fair from January 31 to February 3, 2019, featuring 75 galleries representing 24 cities. The fair will include sections such as Main, Focus, Platform, and Institutions, with Focus dedicated to seven solo exhibitions. Emerging South Asian talent will be highlighted in the Platform section. International participants hail from countries like the U.S., Japan, U.K., Germany, Spain, Austria, South Korea, and China, while Italy will not be represented. VIP David Zwirner is expected to attend. Additionally, cultural institutions like FICA, Kiran Nadar Museum, and MAP will engage in a Forum curated by Sitara Chowfla. Newcomers include Neugerriemschneider and Sokyo Gallery, and the IAF Parallel program will feature events throughout New Delhi, showcasing artists like Bharti Kher and Arpita Singh.
