Inaugural .ART Award 2026 Opens with $50K+ in Prizes
The .ART domain registry is celebrating its 10th birthday by launching the .ART Award 2026, which offers more than $50,000 in prizes. Unlike typical competitions, entrants need to showcase a .ART domain linked to a website, portfolio, or social media, emphasizing their digital footprint. The Grand Prize includes $15,000, art residencies at Château du Fresne near Paris and Anfitrion in Marbella, Spain, a spot in Whitewall Magazine, and a top-tier .ART domain worth $10,000. The judging panel features Jerry Saltz, Sasha Stiles, Akanksha Ballaney, along with representatives from several art organizations. Stiles pointed out the award’s focus on creativity. Founded in 2016 via a collaboration with UK Creative Ideas Ltd and ICANN, .ART manages over 700,000 domains across 170 nations. Submissions are due by November 1, 2026.
