Inail's Marco Fabio Sartori Prize Opens New Section for Communication Campaigns
The sixth edition of the Premio Marco Fabio Sartori, organized by Italy's national worker's compensation authority Inail, is now accepting entries with a new category for communication campaigns alongside its traditional short film competition. The prize, named after Inail's president who died in 2011, targets young people aged 18 to 35 and aims to promote health and safety in the workplace through audiovisual products. Topics must focus on prevention in high-risk sectors such as construction, agriculture, road freight transport, and confined or potentially polluted environments. Short films (3–10 minutes) can be documentaries, films, or reportages; campaign entries must include a project overview, creative concept, media plan, and final products (print ads, radio/TV spots). Cash prizes of €5,000, €3,000, and €1,000 are awarded to the top three in each category, plus the chance to collaborate on Inail's 2019 communication campaigns. The competition was initially run by Inail's Lombardy regional office but expanded nationally in 2018. Winners will be announced at a health and safety event in Milan next year. Deadline for submissions is January 9, 2019.
