IN SEARCH OF HISTORY at Throughline, Houston

IN SEARCH OF HISTORY, a group exhibition curated by Lisa Volpe, who serves as the Curator of Photography at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, will be showcased at Throughline in Houston. This exhibition is scheduled from February 19 to March 21, 2026, aligning with FotoFest 2026, themed Global Visions – FotoFest at 40. It features the works of fifteen artists, including Kelly Berry, Angela Cappetta, and Brian Edwards Jr., among others, who delve into the progression of lens-based art in the 21st century. Volpe emphasizes the remarkable diversity in contemporary U.S. photography, highlighting that the chosen pieces embody a broad vision and active participation in current discussions. Additionally, the exhibition is included in Glasstire’s Five-Minute Tours series, featuring a video walkthrough by Beatriz Bellorín and narration by Chris Wicker.
