IN Residence Workshop in Matera Offers Five Scholarships

The twelfth edition of the IN Residence workshop, titled "Geo-Synchronicity," will take place at the Open Design School in Matera from July 25 to 28, 2019. Organized by Barbara Brondi and Marco Rainò and promoted by the IN Residence cultural association, the workshop focuses on knowledge transmission between generations of designers and talent scouting. Five scholarships sponsored by furniture company LAGO are available for professionals, students, and enthusiasts interested in design intersections with social, scientific, and philosophical fields. The workshop is curated by Joseph Grima with project management by Rita Orlando, and limited to 24 participants. Tutors include Italian design duo Studio Zaven (Enrica Cavarzan and Marco Zavagno) and French talent Théophile Blandet, known for his research on technology paradoxes. Applications close July 24, 2019.
