In Every Room at Campbelltown Arts Centre Confronts Geopolitical Trauma

The Campbelltown Arts Centre in Sydney is set to present the "in every room" exhibition from July 5 to September 14, 2025. Curated by Isabelle Morgan, Emily Rolfe, and Eddie Abd, this exhibition showcases the work of six Australian artists, each exploring personal narratives alongside global issues. Featured artworks include Lara Chamas's "Dawa Ahmar," which addresses violence in Gaza, and Sancintya Mohini Simpson's "JAHAJINS/SHIP-SISTERS," highlighting Indian laborers in South Africa. Other key pieces include Roberta Joy Rich's reconstruction of David Stuurman's tale and Jagath Dheerasekara's critique of colonialism's effect on Sri Lankan elephants. A youth area with curated literature will also be available.
