Koch Media releases a limited-edition DVD box set titled 'L'Impressionismo' on October 13, featuring two documentary films based on major exhibitions. The first film, 'Gli Impressionisti. E l'uomo che li ha creati,' focuses on the relationship between the Impressionists and their dealer Paul Durand-Ruel, the inventor of the modern art market. It originated from a collaboration among the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the National Gallery in London, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Distributed in Italian cinemas by Nexo Digital, the documentary tells the story of the movement from Durand-Ruel's perspective. The second film, 'Manet: Ritratti di vita,' explores works by Édouard Manet exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, featuring over 50 portraits including his wife Suzanne Leenhoff and contemporaries like Marcel Proust, Émile Zola, Stéphane Mallarmé, and Claude Monet.
