Immigrant Artist Biennial Names Four Curators for 2026 Edition

The Immigrant Artist Biennial (TIAB) has selected Sanna Almajedi, Sofia Thiệu D'Amico, Eva Mayhabal Davis, and Anna Khimasia as co-curators for its third edition, which will take place from October to November 2026. Almajedi, who is a performance curator at e-flux, previously co-curated the 13th Seoul Mediacity Biennale. D'Amico and Davis are co-directors at Transmitter, and Khimasia is an independent curator and co-founder of International Arrivals. Chosen by Katya Grokhovsky and Anna Mikaela Ekstrand, their focus will be on performance, sound, and video art. This edition will also include public events addressing immigrant issues, and TIAB will partner with Shiva Gallery at John Jay College for the first time. Additionally, TIAB has started The Endowment Project with Zeit Contemporary Art, featuring contributions from various artists.
