Immersione Libera: Collective Exhibition at Bagni Misteriosi in Milan
The exhibition 'Immersione Libera' at the Palazzina dei Bagni Misteriosi in Milan, curated by Giovanni Paolin and supported by entrepreneur Marina Nissim, features twelve artists whose works blend with the venue's decaying spaces. The Sala Mosaico displays pieces by Alfredo Aceto and Alessandro Fogo, including a pool with liquid parquet inspired by de Chirico, marine gargoyles, and symbolic paintings. The Sala Testori presents a classical world with ancient Greek columns inhabited by a Ceremonial Animal from the collective Agreements to Zinedine (ATZ), complemented by Francesco Fonassi's sound installation 'Scena di Caccia'. Other works evoke unconscious memories, such as Ornaghi & Prestinari's 'Cionco', a disturbing muse without eyes. The exhibition spans eleven rooms across horizontal and vertical planes, ending on the terrace with Antonello Ghezzi's participatory piece 'Alla luna', where visitors can contribute to covering the 384,400 km distance between Earth and the Moon. A series of collateral events by guest curators will animate the show's duration. ATZ, exclusively for Artribune, filmed an unpublished video during the April 30 event, previewing a new cinematic project.
