IMMA and UCD Launch Research Project on Paul O'Neill Archive
Dr. Matisse Huiskens has been appointed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in collaboration with University College Dublin. This appointment is part of a €4.4 million initiative from Research Ireland that funds 46 research projects across the country. Notably, IMMA is the sole art institution included in the Partnership Stream of the initiative. Over the next two years, Huiskens will lead a project entitled "Unpacking the Paul O'Neill Archive at IMMA," which will explore the themes of nationhood and counterpublics in contemporary Irish art since 1991.
