Images Liées: A Video-Only Exhibition at Château de Servières During Manifesta 13

The exhibition 'Images Liées' at Château de Servières in Marseille, part of the Parallèles du Sud program of Manifesta 13, features 27 video works curated by Martine Robin and Josée Gensollen. The show explores the theme of 'traits d'union' (hyphens), divided into three chapters: connection, border, and the passage from life to death. Highlights include Caroline Duchatelet's 'le 25 mars' (2015), a meditation on Fra Angelico's Annunciation fresco at San Marco, created with art historian Neville Rowley. Iván Argote's 'Two Fifty Years Old White Males Having Emotions' (2013) opens the exhibition with a slow dance challenging stereotypes of power.
