illycaffè Unveils 2026 Biennale Arte Art Collection by Four International Artists

illycaffè, main sponsor of the Biennale Arte 2026, has announced a new illy Art Collection featuring works by Alice Maher, Werewere Liking, Thania Petersen, and Mohammed Z. Rahman. The collection transforms the iconic illy cup into an expressive surface, exploring identity, memory, and cultural transformation. Each artist's design dialogues with the curatorial concept "In Minor Keys" by Koyo Kouoh. Maher evokes mythical and bodily dimensions; Liking brings ritualistic color and collectivity; Petersen weaves textile memory and botanical references; Rahman uses word and image for political and identity reflection. CEO Cristina Scocchia stated the collection honors Kouoh's vision of listening and plurality. Since 1992, over 135 artists have reinterpreted the cup designed by Matteo Thun. The collection will be available on the brand's e-shop, illy Caffè, illy Shops, retail, and e-commerce channels.
