festival-fair · 2026-04-20

Ilaria Bonacossa has been appointed as the new director of the Artissima art fair in Turin, succeeding Sarah Cosulich, who led the event for five years. This announcement came from the Fondazione Torino Musei board on December 15, 2016, following a selection process that involved committee members like Andrea Bellini and Michela Bondardo. Bonacossa will hold her position for three years, during which she aims to enhance the fair's cultural identity through various artistic and commercial efforts. With a background in curating and art history, she studied at Bard College and has experience from the 2003 Whitney Biennial and Manifesta 3.
