‘Il Racconto dell’Acqua’ Brings Art to Rome’s Suburbs
‘Il Racconto dell’Acqua’ (The Story of Water), curated by Adriana Polveroni, takes place across Rome’s Seventh Municipality, where contemporary art is integrated into various parks and public areas. This initiative, developed in collaboration with Associazione Culturale Ciel’in città, was selected for the Artes et Iubilaeum 2025 call. Running from September to November 2025, the project investigates the city’s water connections. Highlights include video projections at Acquedotto Felice, plein air painting at Lago Bullicante and Parco di Tor Fiscale, and performances such as Iginio De Luca’s ‘Histoires d’eau.’ Additionally, Paolo Assenza showcased ‘La fontana delle brume’ in November, while Laurent Le Deunff’s ‘Ri-Sorgente’ debuted on November 29, along with workshops in schools and cultural centers.
