Il Ponte's three-day auction of 20th-century decorative arts and design, held June 28-30, 2023, achieved over €1.2 million in total sales with an 85% sell-through rate. The top lot was the Monofilo series seating by Luciano Grassi, Sergio Conti, and Marisa Forlani, which sold for €107,100. Other notable results include a large chandelier by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte at €41,580, a Carlo Scarpa chandelier with Venini at €35,280, and Artona seating by Afra and Tobia Scarpa at €25,200. A large early 20th-century vase by Galileo Chini and a late 1950s enameled ceramic vase by Ettore Sottsass also fetched €25,200 each. International bidders from the United States, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria participated online. The auction featured rare and unpublished lots, with strong interest in Italian design masters.
