Ikea debuts PS 2026 collection and meatball lollipop at Milan Design Week exhibition

Ikea's 'Food For Thought' exhibition at Spazio Maiocchi during Milan Design Week 2026 showcases a playful exploration of living and eating interactions. The event premieres three products from the upcoming 'Ikea PS 2026' collection, including an inflatable chair by Mikael Axelsson, a bench-rocking chair hybrid by Marta Krupińska, and a multifunctional lamp by Alexander Pott. Two new statement floor lamps by Raffaella Mangiarotti are also featured. A culinary-themed saluhall offers a preview of a 'meatball lollipop', set to launch in May 2026 through a collaboration with Chupa Chups. Five experiential rooms pair designers with chefs: Oliver Lyttelton with Tina Choi, Mehek Malhotra with Maurizio Tentella, Lydia Chan with Alessandra Lauria, Charlotte Taylor with Ben Lippett, and Maye Ruiz with Rosio Sanchez. Daily tastings occur in a working kitchen, concluding at a 'Billy café'. The full PS 2026 collection will be unveiled in mid-May 2026.
