Iggy Pop collaborates with Italian harpist Kety Fusco on new single 'She'

Iggy Pop has collaborated with Italian harpist Kety Fusco on the single 'She', the second track from her upcoming album 'Bohème'. The collaboration began after Pop praised Fusco's experimental album 'The Harp – Chapter 1' on BBC Radio, saying 'the harp is not heard, as much'. Fusco, known for subverting traditional harp stereotypes, sent Pop a composition that evolved into a featured track. The music video, directed by Sharon Ritossa and Gabriele Ottino with artistic supervision by Michele Pennetta, uses Text To Image software to depict a post-apocalyptic world where a drone searches for harmonic sound among ruins, ocean abysses, and plastic waste. The video serves as a warning against global silence, emphasizing music's power to save from ugliness and collective solitude. 'Bohème' will be released on September 19 by Swiss label A Tree In A Field Records. Fusco will tour Italy, Switzerland, and France, with confirmed dates including June 4 in Bellinzona, June 19 at Monfrà Jazz Festival in Casale Monferrato, July 6 at Festival de la Cité, and July 13 at Chauffer dans la Noirceur festival in Montmartin-sur-Mer.
