IED Torino Launches Second Edition of Master in Digital Innovation for Culture
The second edition of the Master in Innovation and Digital Production for Culture at IED Torino begins in November 2024. The one-year program trains experts in digital transformation for museums, archives, theaters, and foundations, covering VR, AI, web 3.0, NFTs, and gaming. Directed by Alessandro Bollo, director of the Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, the master combines theoretical lessons with practical projects at institutions like the Centro di Conservazione e Restauro di Venaria, MAO, Biblioteche Civiche Torinesi, Polo del '900, and Museo Egizio. Graduates can pursue roles such as Social Media Manager, UX Designer, or Mixed Reality Specialist. The program addresses the skills gap in cultural digitalization, accelerated by COVID-19 and funded by Italy's PNRR.
