IED students reinterpret Valentino vintage garments for Artribune cover
The first cover of Artribune's new Fashion & Fragrances special features a collaboration between Valentino and IED Milan. Valentino donated five vintage garments from Pierpaolo Piccioli's creative direction to seven fashion schools globally, including IED Milan as the sole Italian academic partner, in partnership with 1 Granary. Sixty IED Milan students from Fashion Design, Fashion Styling & Communication, and Fashion Marketing courses reinterpreted the pieces through illustration, photography, video, and craftsmanship. Mentors Olivia Spinelli (Creative Direction), Mirko de Propis (Shooting), and Gianni Cinti (Illustration) guided the project. The initiative aims to transmit Valentino's craftsmanship and explore archival fashion as a sustainable tool. The cover photo was shot by Elisa Bontempo featuring students A. Stampatori, V. Trionfo, and G. Leggio.
