IED Rome Students Design Travel Diary for Air Dolomiti Passengers
Twenty-two young designers from IED Rome have created 'Notes From Puglia,' a travel diary featuring 40 illustrations celebrating Puglia's iconic elements. The project is a collaboration between Pugliapromozione, The Trip Agency, Air Dolomiti, and IED Rome. With a print run of 10,000 copies, the agendas are distributed free on Air Dolomiti flights from Munich to Bari, bridging Italian and German cultures. Luigi Vernieri, Director of Special Projects and Coordinator of the Graphic Design course at IED Rome, described it as a creative challenge for students to depict Puglia's treasures through their own graphic visions. The illustrations cover taralli, trulli, pizzica salentina, and the luminarie of San Nicola, representing the region's cultural, culinary, and natural heritage.
