IED presents Casa IED and student projects at Milan Design Week 2018
The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is set to take part in the 2018 Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, featuring a series of events and installations. At the Rho fairgrounds, Casa IED will highlight works from alumni, such as Enrica by Federico Peri for D3CO and Rah by Alessio Romano for Atipico. Additionally, student projects like Alba by Mariana Pellegrino Soto and a lamp by Francesca Borelli for Oluce will be showcased. The Sardiska collection for Ikea was created in collaboration with IED Cagliari students. IED will also unveil concepts from its partnership with IRSAP and present student creations at SaloneSatellite. Furthermore, IED will engage in Fuorisalone activities, including the Hyundai Kite concept car and initiatives focused on autism-friendly design. The institution will participate in the Design Pride parade and a roundtable featuring Riccardo Balbo and Beatrice Leanza.
